First, let's prepare the pearl barley. Rinse thoroughly and, if possible, leave in cold water for 2 hours.

We wash the chicken meat, then cut into small pieces for soup.

We wash the vegetables, wipe them with a paper towel and prepare them for sautéing. Thinly chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

We turn on the "Baking" multicooker mode and pour the vegetable oil into the bowl. When the oil heats up, add the onions and carrots, sauté until tender, without closing the lids of the multicooker. Do not forget to stir periodically so that the vegetables do not burn.
