Pickle with rice and chicken

The main ingredient in the pickle is pickles. Together with the cucumber pickle, they give a pleasant sourness and make the pickle special. Here is a not quite classic, but no less delicious pickle recipe.

Inspect the chicken for freshness. Rinse thoroughly with running water. Place the meat in a saucepan. Fill with water so that the meat is completely covered. We turn on the stove, set the meat to cook over high heat. When it boils, turn the fire down. Skim the broth as needed. Salt the meat. Continue cooking until tender.

While the meat is being cooked, we start preparing the vegetable part of the pickle. Peel the onions and carrots. Wash and cut - carrots can be finely chopped, onions can be diced.

We clean the potatoes. We rinse and cut as convenient (whether into cubes).

Cut pickled cucumbers into small pieces.

As soon as the chicken is ready, take it out, put it in a bowl and cover it with a lid to keep it juicy. Throw potatoes into the broth. Cook for about 10 minutes (almost until tender).

At the same time, we begin to engage in roasting vegetables. We turn on the burner, put a frying pan with vegetable oil on it. As soon as it warms up, we send the onion into it first, fry until soft. Then we add chopped carrots to the onion, simmer everything together over low heat for about 3-5 minutes.

For a rich taste of pickle, tomato sauce is used. Add it to the fried vegetables as soon as they are almost ready.

The next step is to send tomato-flavored vegetables to potatoes boiled in broth. We are waiting for the broth to boil again.

After that, immediately season the broth with chopped pickles. Cook everything together over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Cucumbers should soften during cooking.

We take rice, rinse it with cold water. We send pure rice to the pickle. Stir until the rice broth comes to a boil to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pot.

Taste the pickle. Add cucumber pickle to it for a brighter flavor if you deem necessary, and season with pepper and bay leaves. If there is not enough salt, add more. Let the seasoning come from your own desires.
