Rassolnik is a traditional old Russian dish that has not lost its popularity to this day. There are many options for making pickle, but the invariable ingredient is always pickles. It is they who give the soup its characteristic rich taste. Today we will cook pickle with rice in a slow cooker - it is very convenient and tasty.

We prepare vegetables for pickle: peel and wash carrots and onions.

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker pan. Pour in the chopped onion and grated carrots, mix everything and press the "Baking" mode. Cooking for twenty minutes.

While the vegetables are being sautéed, let's turn to the meat. It needs to be washed, dried and cut into small pieces.

Finely chop the pickled cucumbers or rub on a coarse grater.

Put the chopped meat in a multicooker bowl with onions and carrots, mix and close the lid.

We wash the rice until clear water. In the meantime, the Baking program should have ended. Open the slow cooker and add chopped potatoes, rice, cucumbers, salt, pepper, bay leaf. Pour the mixture with water, almost reaching the level of the mark in the bowl, since you need to leave room for the cucumber pickle. Close the lid and set the "Soup" mode.
