First of all, boil the pearl barley porridge.

Cut the cucumbers into circles, rub the carrots with thin strips on a grater. A Korean grater is best suited for this, but you can also take a regular one.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Saute the onions and carrots until golden brown, so that the vegetables become soft.
