Crumbly pilaf with beef in a slow cooker

Beef has a rather specific taste and not many people like dishes from it, but pilaf from it, cooked in a slow cooker, is almost no different from the classic one with lamb. You will quickly and tasty feed your family with this dish. For pilaf, choose young beef that is free of tendons and film. Cooking pilaf with onions, carrots, steamed long-grain rice and pilaf spices.

Peel and rinse the pilaf onion and chop it into small cubes.

Rinse a piece of beef with running water, wipe it dry with a kitchen towel and cut the meat into equal medium pieces with a sharp knife.

Heat the vegetable oil in the multicooker bowl on the "Fry" program. Transfer the chopped onion into it and fry until transparent. Then transfer the pieces of beef to the onion, fry them on the same program for 7 minutes. Pour ½ cup of clean water over the fried meat. Then salt the meat to your liking, sprinkle with spices and mix. Turn on the "Quenching" program for 40 minutes. If the beef is more mature, increase the stewing time.

After this time, transfer the carrots, cut into strips, to the bowl of the stew.

Sprinkle steamed rice on top of the carrots (you can rinse it several times with cold water). Then sprinkle the rice with salt and seasoning for pilaf.

Then pour 1.5 cups of water into the bowl and put the garlic head peeled from the outer husks in the middle of the bowl.

Close the lid of the multicooker and turn on the "Pilaf" or "Rice" program for the default time. After the signal about the end of the program, leave the pilaf for 10 minutes in the "Heating" mode. Then open the lid and stir the pilaf with a spatula. Remove the sample.
