Lavash is a lifesaver in cases when you need to quickly prepare a snack or a hearty snack. Moreover, completely different products can be used for the filling: we dispose of the leftovers from the refrigerator and feed the family. If you have a slice of chicken, some Korean carrots and some cheese, this can already be called a starter set of ingredients for a delicious filling. The roll is preparing faster than this recipe can be read!
Ingredients
Cooking process
Rub hard cheese on a fine grater. Sprinkle the greased pita bread with cheese shavings. We cover with a second sheet of pita bread and lightly press with our hands over its entire area. It turned out a double base of pita bread with cheese filling for the future roll. While we are preparing the rest of the ingredients, the dry dough will have time to soak a little.
We start assembling the roll. On the surface of the lavash base, lay out Korean-style carrots in strips, then cucumber strips, then chopped chicken and green onions. We leave one of the edges of the base free of the filling and put a little mayonnaise on it - this will help to "glue" the layers, and the roll will keep its shape well.
We twist the roll, moving towards the edge greased with mayonnaise. We form it quite tightly so that the filling sticks well between the layers. It is better to let the formed roll lie in the refrigerator for at least half an hour, so the lavash will become softer and more tender. If you don't have time, you can serve it right away, having cut it into portions beforehand.
Bon Appetit!
