I want to share a wonderful recipe for a roll made from pita bread, which often helps me out when guests are on the doorstep. An elementary recipe will take no time at all. Try it and enjoy an incredibly tasty, tender and quick-to-prepare snack.

Prepare all the ingredients you need to make a pita roll with canned fish, melted cheese and an egg. Pre-boil the required amount of chicken eggs in a large amount of salted water. Then cool them in cold running water and peel them.

Use a can opener to open a can of canned fish. Put it in a deep bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork until it becomes a homogeneous consistency. Peel the onions, rinse under water and finely chop with a knife, add to the chopped canned fish.

Grate the peeled chicken eggs on a coarse grater or chop with a sharp knife. Grate the melted cheese on a coarse grater. Place with the rest of the ingredients. Then add the required amount of mayonnaise. Stir until smooth. If desired, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or natural yogurt.

Put a sheet of Armenian lavash on a clean work surface of the kitchen table, and then grease it with half of the prepared filling, evenly distributing it over the entire surface of the lavash using a silicone spatula. Do the same with the second sheet of pita bread.

Roll up the rolls as tightly as possible. Then wrap them in plastic wrap or foil and place them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to soak. If you prepare the snack well in advance, let it soak overnight. It will be even better that way.
