Fish hodgepodge with capers

Capers are used in the preparation of hodgepodge as a strong seasoning with a shock dose of spice and acid, and there is no full substitute for them, so olives and canned cucumbers are added to the hodgepodge. Fish hodgepodge is no exception. Usually they are added to the hodgepodge towards the end of cooking so as not to become soft. Try and appreciate the taste of such a dish.
