We would like to offer you a recipe for cooking mushrooms fried in a crispy breading from flour. They will serve as an excellent side dish for a meat dish, as well as an excellent substitute for a meat dish and make a delicious tandem with boiled or fried potatoes. An excellent addition to mushrooms is a marinade with fresh herbs and garlic, which adds pleasant spicy notes to the mushrooms.
Ingredients
Cooking process
For cooking, you can use both fresh and frozen mushrooms. We clean the fresh mushrooms and rinse them under a stream of warm running water. Pour water into a saucepan, put on fire and bring to a boil. Add a little salt and put the mushrooms in boiling water. Boil the mushrooms until tender, 25-30 minutes.
We wash the dill and parsley under running water, put it on a kitchen towel and leave it for 5-10 minutes to dry the greens. Then chop it finely with a knife. We spread the herbs in a small bowl, add the garlic passed through a press and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, salt to taste, mix and leave for 10-15 minutes to brew the marinade.
When the mushrooms are drained from the water, put them on a cutting board and cut off the legs. To cook mushrooms in batter, we only need hats, and the legs can then be used to prepare another dish. Pour wheat flour into a small bowl, add salt, mix and put the mushrooms in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Fry the mushrooms over high heat on both sides so that the flour seizes and forms a crispy crust.
