Caesar salad with smoked chicken breast

Oddly enough, but this salad has nothing to do with the Roman emperor. It was invented in Mexican Tijuana by the Italian Caesar Cardini, who had to quickly feed the guests of his restaurant. And then he came across white bread and lettuce leaves. Many years have passed since then, and Caesar continues to acquire more and more new recipes, today we will cook it with smoked chicken breast.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Cut off the crust of the baguette, cut the pulp into cubes. Crush the garlic with the flat side of a knife. Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the garlic, saute and remove from the pan, then add the bread and saute until golden brown.
step 2 out of 6
Cut the smoked chicken breast into thin slices.
step 3 out of 6
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
step 4 out of 6
Prepare a dressing. Dip a chicken egg in boiling water for 1 minute, then crush it into a bowl. Add olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and lemon juice, whisk until smooth.
step 5 out of 6
Wash and dry lettuce leaves, tear into large pieces with your hands. Cut the cherry tomatoes into wedges.
step 6 out of 6
Put lettuce leaves, tomatoes and chicken fillet on a dish in random order, pour over everything with sauce. Then lay out the croutons and sprinkle with grated cheese. The gorgeous Caesar salad is ready.

Bon Appetit!
