Donskoy salad with cucumbers for the winter

Summer is the period of harvesting for the winter, during which you can prepare a large number of various salads and snacks, as well as canned vegetables from a variety of vegetables. Today I propose to cook "Donskoy" salad with cucumbers for the winter. The salad is obtained with a balanced taste and aroma.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Wash the vegetables thoroughly. Peel the onions and then cut into thin half rings, before rinsing in cold water. Cut the cucumbers at random, peel the zucchini with a vegetable peeler, cut in the same way as the cucumbers, cut the tomatoes into small pieces, after removing the stalk. Mix all prepared vegetables in a deep bowl.
step 2 out of 6
Prepare the jars, rinse thoroughly in warm water along with baking soda, and then sterilize in a water bath or microwave. At the bottom of sterile jars, place pre-washed dill umbrellas, bay leaves, peppercorns, and also add mustard seeds and caraway seeds.
step 3 out of 6
Prepare the marinade. For the total amount of vegetables, take half a liter of cold water and pour into a saucepan, then add the required amount of table vinegar, table salt and granulated sugar. Stir and put on fire, bring to a boil, remove from heat and distribute evenly over 1/4 of the jars.
step 4 out of 6
Place the vegetable mass in each jar. Boil the lids or pour them over with boiling water and twist the jars of vegetables with them.
step 5 out of 6
Place the filled cans in a saucepan, cover the bottom of which with a kitchen towel. Pour warm water over the hangers of the jars, and then place the pot with the jars on the fire, bring to a boil and sterilize the jars for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the jars.
step 6 out of 6
Carefully remove the hot salad jars, then use a sealer to roll up the sterile lids. Gently turn the hot cans upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave in this state for about a day. Then move the cooled salad jars to a cool dark place for storage.

Bon Appetit!
