The first step is to thoroughly wash the green tomatoes by placing them in a deep basin and flooding them with cold water. In the meantime, prepare the jars, rinse them thoroughly in warm water, and then sterilize the jars in the microwave, oven, or water bath. Boil the lids or pour over boiling water.
Pour warm water and the hangers of the jars, put the pot with jars over medium heat and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, and sterilize the salad for about 15-20 minutes. Gently remove the hot salad jars, pour in the required amount of vinegar and screw well or roll up with a sterile lid sealer.
