Chrysanthemum salad with canned food

A simple recipe for Chrysanthemum puff salad. You can use any canned fish for its preparation - in oil or in your own juice. You will also need eggs, processed cheese, an apple, and mayonnaise. We use onions as decoration: we cut out that very chrysanthemum from it. We recommend taking apples that are sour or with a slight degree of sweetness, for a harmonious taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Cook eggs hard-boiled for twelve minutes, fill with cold water and cool. Then we peel and separate into whites and yolks. Rub the proteins on a fine grater. Put the resulting shavings in the first layer on a serving dish. Cover with a fine mesh of mayonnaise.
step 2 out of 7
Rinse the apple, dry it and cut it into quarters. Cut off the peel and remove the seed capsule. Rub the pulp on a fine grater. We spread the apple layer on top of the protein layer. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
step 3 out of 7
The next layer is processed cheese grated on a fine grater. In order for the product to rub well and not stick to the grater, we recommend holding it in the freezer for thirty minutes. During this time, it will harden enough, but will not freeze.
step 4 out of 7
Drain the juice or oil from the canned fish. Knead the fish into small pieces with a fork. Put it on top of the melted cheese and put a mayonnaise mesh on top.
step 5 out of 7
The final layer is the remaining boiled yolks grated on a fine grater. Sprinkle them over the surface of the salad and press lightly with the back of a spoon. The salad is formed.
step 6 out of 7
We make "chrysanthemum" from onions. To do this, peel the onion and make deep cuts around its circumference, but not completely. For clarity, see the photo. Place the cut onion in a small deep bowl and cover with cold water. In thirty to forty minutes, the "petals" will open by themselves.
step 7 out of 7
Remove the opened onion from the water, shake off excess moisture and stir the "chrysanthemum" on the surface of the salad. Place sprigs of fresh parsley around to imitate leaves.
Bon Appetit!
