Chrysanthemum salad with crab sticks

A spectacular salad that does not require special ingredients, it is quite simple to prepare and creates a festive mood. The whole secret lies in decorating the surface: we lay thin strips of crab sticks in the shape of a flower on it. The two-tone "petals" look elegant and immediately whet your appetite. The salad itself is quite light in composition and is great as a cold snack.

We start preparing the salad with dressing, as it will need to layer the ingredients in the process of forming the snack. Place the specified amount of sour cream, mustard and mayonnaise in a small bowl. We wash the dill, dry it and chop it finely with a knife. Add chopped greens to a bowl. We leave a few pinches of chopped dill for decoration. Mix everything together until smooth - the dressing is ready.

We release the crab sticks from the packaging and cut into small cubes. Set aside two or three sticks for decoration.

Put chopped crab sticks on a flat salad dish - this is the first layer. Cover with a small amount of the prepared dressing.

We wash the green onions, dry them and chop them with a knife. Pour the onion in the next layer over the crab sticks.

We wash the bell pepper, dry it and clean it from seeds and stalks. Cut the pulp into small pieces. We put chopped pepper in the next layer after the onion.

Cook eggs hard-boiled for twelve minutes, fill with cold water and cool. We clean and rub on a coarse grater. Draw the next layer on top of the boiled egg pepper. Lubricate generously with a dressing.

We wash the tomatoes, dry them and cut them into small cubes. If a lot of juice is released during the cutting process, we must drain it so that there is not too much moisture in the finished salad. Place the chopped tomato on top of the egg layer.

Grate the Dutch cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle the surface of the salad with the resulting shavings.

The final touch is salad dressing. We carefully unfold the left crab sticks into a flat layer. Cut it into thin strips. lay out the straws in the form of a flower around the circumference of the salad, as in the photo. In the center, you can lay a slide of grated cheese. Apply a rim of dill around the circumference. We put the salad in the refrigerator for an hour to soak, then serve it on the table.
