The vinegar in the cucumber salad can be replaced with lemon juice: it is healthier and gives the preparation a fresh taste. Turmeric, coriander seeds and mustard are used as aromatic spices.

Wash the cucumbers and cut them in half lengthwise.

Remove the inside of the pulp with seeds. Cut the remaining pieces into small pieces.

Cut the onion into half rings, mix with cucumbers and salt. Refrigerate for 8 hours.
