A juicy crispy salad with hints of mustard will definitely come in handy in winter. This is a great addition to hot dishes and, moreover, does not require any preliminary preparation. You just need to open the can. Cooking such a salad also does not take much time.

For such a salad, it is not necessary to take young cucumbers. The recipe is just right to dispose of those specimens that are overgrown for pickling or pickling whole.

We wash the cucumbers thoroughly, dry them. Cut off the ends and peel off the rind if it is too rough.

Cut the prepared cucumbers into circles no more than a centimeter thick. We put the chopped vegetables in a bowl of a suitable size. It is important that the dishes are not metallic, as the cucumber marinade contains vinegar. Sprinkle the cucumbers with salt, sugar, a mixture of red and black peppers. Put the mustard, chopped (you can pass through a press or chop finely with a knife) garlic, chopped dill. Pour vinegar and mix everything together with your hands until the components are evenly distributed throughout the mass.

We cover the dishes with a lid and leave at room temperature for three to four hours. During this time, the cucumbers will be juiced and marinated. It is important to mix them several times to evenly distribute the marinade. After the specified time has elapsed, the cucumbers, along with the marinade, are laid out in dry clean jars, covered with lids and sent for sterilization for five to seven minutes. After that, we roll up the jars with sterilized lids and let them cool completely. We remove the cooled jars for storage in a cool, dark place.
