It is convenient to put fragrant pickled cucumber pieces in tomato sauce made from natural tomatoes directly from the jar into a plate for a hot lunch. You will appreciate the amazing taste of this homemade snack and will surely return to this option every time you harvest vegetables in the summer.

Choose cucumbers that are dense and not large. Wash them well, cut off the ponytails and cut with washers not thinly (0.5 cm each) so that they turn out crispy.

Wash the tomatoes, make a cross cut on each and place in boiling water for 2 minutes, then immediately transfer to cold water with ice for 1 minute.

Remove the skin from the tomatoes and remove the place where the stalk is attached. Transfer them to a bowl and grind them in a food processor or meat grinder. Peel the onion and garlic and also pass through the apparatus.

Stir the sauce and pour into a saucepan. Boil the tomato mass and cook for 5 minutes. Add sugar, salt, vinegar and oil, stir and taste, if desired, adjust the taste with spices.

The jars should not touch each other, they can burst when boiling, so place a towel between them. Fill the jars with warm water up to the shoulders and boil, cook them for 10-15 minutes

Remove the hot jars carefully and tighten the lids. Turn them over and cover with a blanket to cool slowly and store for a long time. After cooling completely, the salad is ready, and if you wish, you can try the jar.
