Boil the beets in a small saucepan, after washing the vegetable and adding salt to the water. The cooking time for beets depends on their size and quantity. Cool and peel the finished beets. Cut into small cubes and place in a prepared salad bowl.

Boil the egg in salted water. Cool the boiled egg and peel it. Cut to the same size as the beets. Add to salad bowl.
