An appetizing salad of green tomatoes can be prepared not only for the next dinner, but also saved in jars for the winter. It is not at all difficult to preserve this blank. You will get an appetizing salad in a jar in just half an hour, and you can enjoy this preparation until the next season of tomatoes.

Rinse fresh strong green tomatoes in running water, then cut them into medium-sized slices using a sharp knife. Put the tomatoes in a bowl and tamp them lightly, after ten minutes, drain the resulting juice.

Put the tomatoes in a large saucepan, add salt and prepare vegetables for salad.

Rinse the peppers. Onions and carrots. Peel and cut the peppers into small slices, peel and grate the carrots on a medium grater, and then chop the onions into half rings.

Add vegetables to a container with tomatoes and prepare a lard dressing. To do this, combine vegetable oil with vinegar, add granulated sugar and mix well. Pour the dressing into a saucepan with vegetables, mix and send to simmer over moderate heat for about twenty minutes from the moment the salad boils. While the salad is cooking, sterilize the jars and lids for the preparation.

Put the prepared hot salad quickly into sterile jars and immediately roll up with sterile lids. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave to cool for a couple of days. After that, you can remove the workpiece for storage in the cellar, pantry.
