Green tomato salad recipes seem very similar, but if you change some of the ingredients, you get a different taste. In this recipe, you are invited to prepare a salad of green tomatoes with the addition of tomato paste, because these products are wonderful friends. Salad is prepared by stewing vegetables in a saucepan and without subsequent sterilization.

Wash the green tomatoes well and chop them into small cubes. Transfer them to a stewing dish.

Peel and rinse the carrots and onions and dice the onions and the carrots into thin cubes. Transfer them to the chopped tomatoes.

Peel the bell peppers (can be of different colors) from seeds, also chop into cubes and transfer to the tomatoes.

Mix all the chopped vegetables in a bowl and leave for 20-30 minutes to give their juice.

Pour vegetable oil into vegetables with tomato and stir again.

Put the dishes with vegetables over medium heat and bring the salad to a boil. Then add the amount of salt, sugar and red pepper indicated in the recipe. Mix everything well and simmer the salad over low heat for 2 hours. The simmering time is longer than usual, since this salad is prepared without vinegar. Taste the prepared salad. Then put it hot in sterile jars and roll up with boiled lids. Cover the jars with a warm blanket and, after cooling, transfer to storage.
