Green tomato salad with tomato sauce

By themselves, green tomatoes are quite hard. However, if cooked in tomato sauce, they become soft on the inside, but retain their shape.

Wash the tomatoes, remove the tails. If you come across red tomatoes, that's okay.

Peel the carrots and cut into strips.

Do the same with sweet pepper.

Fry the carrots and peppers in vegetable oil until light golden brown.

Without lowering the heat, put in whole tomatoes. Fry everything together, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Add tomato paste or sauce.

Dilute it with water, add salt, sugar and spices. Simmer green tomatoes in sauce for 10 minutes. Add chopped garlic at the end.
