Red bean salad

The red bean salad is very satisfying and perfect for lunch or dinner. The dish is suitable for both a festive table and an everyday one. A bright and colorful salad will definitely not be overlooked.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
The chicken must be boiled in advance. You can take any parts of the carcass, but the salad is especially juicy and tasty with thighs. Cool the boiled chicken and cut it into small pieces across the fibers, send it to the salad bowl.
step 2 out of 9
To prepare croutons, cut slices of white bread with a sharp knife into small cubes.
step 3 out of 9
Grease the baking sheet or the form in which the croutons will be prepared with vegetable oil and spread the garlic (two cloves) over the butter, passed through the press. The croutons will acquire a light garlic aroma, which will not be intrusive.
step 4 out of 9
Pour the cubes of white bread on a greased baking sheet with garlic, stir gently so that the cubes are slightly saturated with oil and garlic aroma. Sprinkle with a little salt. We put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, on the "grill" mode.
step 5 out of 9
Cook the croutons for five to seven minutes, until they are dry and noticeably brown. Remove the finished croutons from the baking sheet and pour onto a flat plate in one layer.
step 6 out of 9
The tomato must be washed, dried and cut into small cubes. If there is a lot of excess juice, it must be drained. Put the tomato slices in a salad bowl.
step 7 out of 9
Open a can of canned red beans, drain the liquid completely. Put the beans in a salad bowl. Pass the remaining garlic clove through a press and add to the rest of the ingredients in a salad bowl.
step 8 out of 9
Put mayonnaise in a salad bowl, mix all the ingredients. Salad ready.
step 9 out of 9
Before serving, add the croutons and mix again. If the croutons are added in advance, they will get soaked and will not be able to complement the salad with a crispy note.

Bon Appetit!
