Salad with squid, crab sticks, corn, egg and cucumber

Such a salad may somewhat resemble a crab salad. And yet it is different: fresh notes of cucumber and aroma of green onions appear. By the way, we recommend using the latter both in the form of feathers and in the form of an onion. An ideal option for taste is young onions that have not yet been formed. The dish is prepared quite quickly and can help out in a situation when you urgently need to prepare a treat on the table. While the guests are driving, the salad can be sliced ​​in no time.

We defrost the squid, rinse thoroughly with running water, clean it from the surface film with a knife. We place the prepared carcasses in a deep bowl and fill them with boiling water for three to four minutes. Then we drain the water, and let the squid cool. We cut them into thin strips.

We release the crab sticks from the packaging and cut into small cubes. Alternatively, you can use crab meat.

Boil eggs hard-boiled, fill with cold water and let cool completely. Peel and cut into small pieces.

We wash and dry the cucumbers - no extra moisture is needed in the salad. Cut off the ends on both sides, cut the fruit into longitudinal plates, which are then cut into cubes. If the cucumbers are not young, it makes sense to cut the skin and remove the seed core.

Peel the onions, rinse and dry. Cut it into small cubes. I also wash the green feathers and grind them into small transverse pieces.

We open a can of canned corn, discard the grains in a colander. Let the excess liquid drain.

In a salad bowl, mix the chopped ingredients: squid strips, cubes of crab sticks, chopped eggs, cucumber pieces, both types of onions and canned corn. Add mayonnaise to taste and black pepper. We mix all the ingredients and taste the salad. Add additional salt if necessary.

Serve the finished salad in a common salad bowl or in portions, decorating the surface with fresh herbs. It is recommended to use it immediately after preparation.
