An exquisite gourmet salad that will not leave anyone indifferent. Ideal for seafood lovers. Such a dish looks very elegant if you cook it in a flaky way, laying the ingredients evenly on top of each other. The salad is immediately perceived as a special holiday treat, even if it is whipped up as a family dinner. To keep the flaky salad shape intact and make the ingredients easier to stack, use a cooking ring. If there is no such device, it is easy to build it from foil, having previously folded it in a couple of layers.

To save time, boil potatoes and eggs first. We wash the tubers thoroughly, but do not peel them, cook them in their uniforms in salted water. Ten minutes before the potatoes are ready, put eggs to it and cook everything together - it's faster and more convenient. Drain the broth, and leave the potatoes and eggs to cool.

Squid must be completely defrosted before cooking. After defrosting the carcass, we rinse and clean it from the surface film. Boil the prepared squid in salted water: the cooking time is no more than two minutes. Then let the carcasses cool.

Rinse the shrimp and place in a deep bowl. Fill them with boiling water and keep in it for three to four minutes. Then we discard the seafood in a colander and let all the liquid drain. Remove the shell from the finished shrimp and remove the tails.

Cut the cooled squid into thin rings or strips, if desired.

Peel the boiled potato tubers and cut into small cubes.

We open the jar with red caviar - a quality product should have round even eggs, there should not be excess liquid in the container.

We clean the eggs and cut them into halves. Separate the whites from the yolks. Chop the squirrels into small pieces of arbitrary shape.

Now we form a salad from the prepared ingredients. Place the culinary ring on a flat dish and put a layer of potatoes in it. Lightly grease with mayonnaise and place the squid. Again a thin layer of mayonnaise, and then half of the total amount of red caviar. Then chopped egg whites, mayonnaise and shrimp. Again mayonnaise and chopped yolks (crush them with a fork or rub on a fine grater).

Put the second half of the red caviar on the surface of the salad. We level it with a spoon so that the layer is even and neat. Salad ready. Before serving, let the salad sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. So the layers are well saturated, the taste of the dish will become richer. To serve the salad, carefully remove the ring and decorate the surface with a sprig of fresh herbs.
