In this squid salad, the crisp texture of fresh vegetables comes to the fore and sets the mood. It lacks the weight and density that are typical for mayonnaise salads. Crispy bell peppers and juicy tomatoes, as well as spicy onions marinated in lemon juice, turns out to be excellent "companions" for squid. Against their background, the delicate flesh of seafood is especially noticeable and fully reveals its characteristic taste.

Defrost squid, if necessary. We wash them in plenty of running water. Using a knife, remove the surface film and pull out the cartilaginous long plate. We place the prepared peeled carcasses in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. After four to five minutes, drain the water, and let the finished squid cool to a comfortable temperature.
Now we collect the salad from the prepared ingredients. Put squid strips, tomato cubes, bell pepper strips and onions slightly squeezed from the marinade into a bowl. We fill the components with mayonnaise, season with additional salt and black pepper to taste. Gently mix everything together. It is recommended to serve the salad immediately after preparation.
