Squid, cheese and tomato salad

This salad can be more correctly called an appetizer in the style of Italian cuisine, as it is a wonderful combination of tomatoes, cheese and seafood. The salad is prepared quickly and easily and has a bright, elegant look, which is very convenient for a festive table. If desired, you can add spicy notes of garlic to the salad.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Have all the ingredients for this salad ready to hand. Boil the eggs.
step 2 out of 7
Peel and rinse squid carcasses. Boil water in a saucepan and add salt, dill and a few black peppercorns to it. Put the squid carcasses in boiling water and cook them for 2 minutes, no more, so as not to become hard. Then transfer the squid to a plate and cool.
step 3 out of 7
Wash fresh tomatoes, preferably meaty varieties, and remove the pulp and seeds with a spoon. Then cut the tomatoes into small cubes and transfer them to a salad bowl.
step 4 out of 7
Peel the boiled eggs and cut them into half rings. Then transfer them to the tomatoes.
step 5 out of 7
Rinse the green onion feathers and chop finely. Put it in a salad bowl as well.
step 6 out of 7
Grind a piece of hard cheese on a coarse grater and transfer to the salad.
step 7 out of 7
Cut the chilled squid carcasses into thin strips and transfer to a salad bowl. Sprinkle the salad to your liking with salt and black pepper, add mayonnaise, mix gently with a spoon and serve.

Bon Appetit!
