Shrimp and Chinese cabbage salad

Shrimp and tender napa cabbage go well together in one salad, where you can also add foods such as eggs, crab sticks, onions and cheese. A salad dressing is especially delicious if you make it with homemade mayonnaise, adding mustard, vinegar or sugar, and soy sauce - prepare it more according to your preferences.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Dip the eggs in cold water, salt, let the water boil, and then boil the eggs hard-boiled, which will take about 10 minutes. Peel and chop the cooled eggs on a coarse grater.
step 2 out of 7
Dip frozen shrimp in boiling water and cook them for as long as indicated on the package. Fresh shrimps are boiled for no more than 2-3 minutes, if they are small, large shrimps are boiled for 2 minutes longer.
step 3 out of 7
Finely chop the Peking (Chinese) cabbage.
step 4 out of 7
Chop the onion finely, pour boiling water over it and let it stand for about 10 minutes to remove the bitterness from the onion.
step 5 out of 7
Cut the crab sticks into small cubes and place in a bowl.
step 6 out of 7
Grate the cheese very finely and add to the crab sticks. Mix salad dressing with mayonnaise and stir well (to taste, you can also add salt, pepper, mustard, etc.).
step 7 out of 7
Put the prepared salad ingredients (eggs, shredded cabbage, shrimps and strained onions) in a deep salad bowl, season with your dressing, stir and garnish with red caviar on top. Allow the salad to cool in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and serve.

Bon Appetit!
