Delicious salad with seafood - mussels. They are rich in valuable trace elements and are low in calories. Accompanied by fresh vegetables and a savory dietary dressing, mussels are not only very tasty, but also good for your body and health.

First, let's prepare the mussels. To do this, dip the frozen mussels in salted boiling water and cook for two minutes. After the specified time has elapsed, immediately discard the mussels in a colander and let the liquid drain. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil until hot (do not boil), add a pinch of salt, black pepper and lemon juice to it. Stir well and dip the boiled mussels into this mixture. We leave the mussels for a while so that they marinate. In the meantime, we are preparing the rest of the ingredients.

Red onions must be peeled, washed, dried and cut into thin, transparent semicircles with a sharp knife.

We disassemble the onion semicircles with our hands into strips, put them in a small bowl and sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper and a pinch of sugar. Stir and leave to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

We wash the avocado, dry it, cut it into two halves, remove the pit, remove the peel. Cut the pulp into small cubes. To keep them from darkening, you can sprinkle them with lemon juice a little. We also wash the tomatoes, dry them, cut them into pieces, proportional to the avocado cubes. If excess juice is released, it must be drained.

Put chopped tomatoes, avocado cubes, pickled red onion in a salad bowl.

Add mussels to the salad bowl, mix gently. Pour the salad with a few tablespoons of the oil left over from pickling the mussels. If desired, you can add salt to the salad, add black pepper and pour additional lemon juice.
