Liver and apple salad

Liver is a healthy by-product rich in iron. The liver is usually used to prepare main courses, snacks, and pâtés. I recommend making a warm salad with chicken liver and apples. An interesting combination of products will not leave you indifferent.

Place a small pot of water on a fire. Bring to a boil. Wash the apples well, cut into 4-6 pieces, depending on the size of the apples, removing the core from them. Put apple slices in boiling water, add spices to taste (cloves, allspice).

Preheat the pan well, pour in a small amount of vegetable oil, put the pre-washed and dried chicken liver and fry on low heat on both sides. Season the cooked liver with salt and pepper.

Prepare a salad dressing. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, honey and mustard right in a salad bowl. Mix everything well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir the dressing.

Drain the cooked apples using a sieve and send to the salad bowl with dressing.

Send the finished liver to the apples and mix everything thoroughly.

Rinse and dry the existing greens. Put the salad on a plate, garnish with fresh herbs and feta cheese. Cheese can be replaced with cottage cheese and feta cheese.
