Another discovery for me was a winter salad with rice, which can be a quick snack. Also, the blank can be used to make a delicious light chicken soup. I often do this, boil the chicken in advance, and then add the preparation, bring it to a boil and, woo a la - the soup is ready!

Prepare all the ingredients you need for a quirky and delicious rice salad. Measure out the required amount of rice. Rinse the rice thoroughly several times under running cold water.

Pour the required amount of vegetable oil into a metal dish with a thick bottom, add granulated sugar and table salt. I most often use a heavy-bottomed saucepan or bowl if I need to cook a large batch.

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dry them and cut into several pieces, removing the stalk. Rinse the carrots thoroughly and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Pass the prepared vegetables through a meat grinder, chop with a blender or food processor.

Wash the bell peppers, dry them, remove the seeds and cores, and then cut them into small cubes.

Peel the onions, rinse under cold water and cut into small cubes.

Put prepared vegetables and washed rice in a metal dish with a thick bottom. Mix thoroughly. Place the container with the contents over medium heat and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat, cover and cook the salad with rice for about an hour, stirring occasionally so that it does not burn.

Wash and sterilize the jars in the oven or microwave. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a saucepan. Gently arrange the hot salad in sterile jars and roll. Turn the salad jars upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave to cool completely for about a day. Then transfer to a cool place for storage.
