A quick preparation of a universal salad resembling fragrant pilaf in composition with tomato juice will help out for any occasion. The juice can be replaced with tomato paste, if you dilute 500 g in 1.5 liters. boiled water.

Take a large saucepan of 5 liters, pour in the oil and vinegar, dilute the salt and sugar in the liquid and bring the marinade to a boil. Rinse the peeled carrots, chop on a grater and transfer to the marinade. After 5 minutes, add the peeled, washed and finely chopped onion.
