Ham and cabbage salad

Cabbage goes well with a variety of foods. This option with ham and peas - simple and affordable products - will be a good addition to a hearty meal. For salad, you can use young white cabbage or Peking cabbage. The main thing is that its leaves are fresh and crispy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Remove damaged and wilted leaves from cabbage. Chop the indicated amount of fresh food and place in a plate. If you are cooking with white cabbage, salt and rub it with your hands for softness and tenderness.
step 2 out of 7
Put the peas in a colander, about half the jar, rinse a little and, stirring, let the liquid drain. Transfer it to the cabbage.
step 3 out of 7
Boil eggs hard-boiled for 10 minutes, place in ice water for 2 minutes and remove the shell. Cut into a medium dice and add to a salad bowl.
step 4 out of 7
Remove the factory film from the ham and chop into cubes, place in a common plate.
step 5 out of 7
Rinse the green onion feathers and chop finely, add to the salad bowl. You can replace onions with salad varieties by cutting them into small cubes and marinating in boiling water for 5 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
Put mayonnaise in the salad and mix well, add salt and pepper if desired.
step 7 out of 7
The salad can be served in a common dish, or laid out in separate salad bowls.
