Tongue is a dietary delicacy from which various interesting and unusual snacks are prepared. I recommend making a salad with tongue, mushrooms and bell pepper. The process of preparing the tongue is quite lengthy, so I advise you to cook the tongue in advance.

Rinse the beef or pork tongue well under running water. Transfer to a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer tongue for about two hours. Transfer the finished tongue to cold water, cool and peel. Cut the peeled tongue into thin slices.

Wash the tomato, pour over boiling water, remove the skin and cut into slices.

Peel the champignons, cut into thin slices. Heat the pan well, add a small amount of vegetable oil and fry the chopped mushrooms until golden brown.
