Pre-thaw mussels and squid rings in cold water. Drain the liquid through a colander and pat dry with paper towels. Preheat the skillet well and fry the dried seafood, stirring occasionally, season with salt and pepper. Transfer the finished seafood to a plate. Put the cooled seafood in a prepared salad bowl.
