I want to share a recipe for a bright and elegant tomato salad that will cheer you up on a rainy autumn or snowy winter day, and also remind you of the wonderful sunny days of the coming summer.

Wash the ripe tomatoes thoroughly and pat them dry on a clean kitchen towel for a while. Cut into several pieces to make slices and remove the stalks.

Peel the red onion and rinse under cold running water. Then cut into thin half rings. You can also use onions.

Wash and dry the bell peppers thoroughly, cut in half and remove the seeds from the core. Cut the peeled bell pepper into strips. The color of the bell pepper is not important.

Rinse the dill greens thoroughly under running water and shake off excess moisture. Chop the prepared dill with a sharp knife.

Put the prepared ingredients in a deep container. Pour in the required amount of vegetable oil and table vinegar, add table salt. Mix thoroughly and leave to infuse for about 1 hour, covered with a lid. In the meantime, wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Boil the lids in a saucepan or pour over boiling water.

Cover the jars with sterile lids, pour warm water over the hangers of the jars. Put a saucepan with jars over medium heat and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and sterilize the jars for about 15-20 minutes.
