In Slavic cuisine, lard takes pride of place and is loved by many. Even in the restaurant menu you can find croutons with salted bacon and garlic. If you modify this appetizer a little and skip lard and garlic through a meat grinder, then you will get a very tasty spread that can be used in making sandwiches.

Peel off the lard and cut it into several pieces. Pass the bacon through a meat grinder, you can do this several times.

Add salt to taste and black pepper to the chopped bacon.

The amount of garlic can be adjusted to your liking. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Add chopped garlic to the bacon, stir.

Wash the greens, dry and chop finely with a knife. Add greens to bacon, stir.

To add even more zest to the appetizer, add red ground pepper. Mix the resulting mass well again, wrap it in cling film and store in the refrigerator.
