Cooking lard is a real pleasure! The basis of such a delicacy is made up of correctly selected spices. Then the bacon will turn out to be moderately salty and spicy and will become an excellent appetizer for a festive and family table.

Cut the bacon into medium-sized rectangular pieces.

Peel the garlic and divide it into slices.

Put bacon, cloves of garlic, bay leaf, peppercorns and dill in a sterilized jar.

Boil water, dissolve salt and red ground pepper in it.

Pour lard with boiling water and close the lid.

We leave the lard in this form for 6-7 days. Then we drain the water and put the bacon in the cold for several hours so that it cools.
