Five-minute lard got its name from the cooking method. The salting itself lasts 6 days, but it takes only 5 minutes to cook in brine. The fat becomes soft and tender from this. Amazing taste and great appetizer.

We wash the fat and clean the skin. We cut it into several medium-sized cubes.

Pour water into a saucepan, add salt, bay leaf, black and allspice pepper and cloves. We put on fire and bring to a boil.

Add pieces of bacon, cover and boil for 5 minutes.

Grind the garlic through a press and add to the bacon.

Stir the mass, cover with a lid and leave the bacon in the brine for 12 hours. We drain the water, let the lard dry.
