Charlotte is the most popular cake recipe loved by many families. It is known that white, wheat flour is not the most useful product. But this is the main ingredient of the favorite dessert. However, there is a way out: replace some of the wheat flour with healthy almond flour. In this case, we will get pleasure from the taste of charlotte and we will not harm our health.

Grind 240 g of almonds and 50 g of sugar in a blender or coffee grinder to obtain almond flour and powdered sugar, respectively. Grind 130 g of butter with powdered sugar until smooth. Combine 2/3 of the almond flour obtained with wheat flour. We introduce flour into the sugar-oil mixture. Add 1 egg, knead the dough so that it does not stick to your hands. Then we wrap it in plastic wrap and send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

While the dough is cooling, prepare the cream. Soften 90 g of butter and beat thoroughly, add 90 g of brown sugar and 1/3 of almond flour, mix everything gently. We drive in 2 eggs there, pour in the rum, knead again.

Then we proceed to the almond sprinkle: mix 120 g of brown sugar with almond petals.

Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small wedges. Melt 50 g of butter in a frying pan, add a little brown sugar for caramelization and fry the apples on both sides.

We take out the cooled dough from the refrigerator, roll it out to a thickness of 2 cm. Cut out circles that are larger in diameter than the shape. Cover the baking dish with parchment, put the prepared dough there, crush it with your hands. Put a few tablespoons of almond cream on the bottom, then a layer of apples, then again a few tablespoons of almond cream, at the end gently sprinkle with almond sprinkles. Put everything in the refrigerator for another hour until it is completely cooled.
