Charlotte on kefir without eggs

This version of charlotte is distinguished by its splendor and porosity, because the dough is mixed with kefir. In addition, semolina, which is part of the composition, gives charlotte moist crumbly. It is also curious that eggs are not used in this recipe.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Pour semolina, sugar, salt, cinnamon, baking powder into a wide bowl.
step 2 out of 8
Pour the sifted flour over the dry ingredients in a bowl. Sifting will give the charlotte a great splendor and airiness. We mix everything well with a whisk.
step 3 out of 8
Pour kefir into another bowl and mix it with vegetable oil and lemon juice.
step 4 out of 8
To get the dough, pour the mixed liquid components into a bowl with dry ingredients. Stir well with a whisk so that there are no lumps left.
The consistency of the dough turns out to be quite thick, the dough leaves a trace behind the whisk.
step 5 out of 8
Wash the apples, dry them, cut them into quarters and cut out the seed box. You can peel the peel, in this case the texture of the filling in the finished charlotte will be more delicate. Cut the quarters into small pieces.
step 6 out of 8
Pour the sliced apples into the dough and mix with a spoon or spatula. We coat the baking dish well with oil. If a silicone mold is used, then there is no need to lubricate with anything. We spread the dough into the prepared form.
step 7 out of 8
We put the form with dough and apples in an oven preheated to 190 degrees on a medium level and bake for 40-50 minutes. Charlotte should noticeably increase in volume and become golden. After the specified baking time, we take out the finished product and let it cool right in the mold, since if you remove the charlotte hot, it can be damaged, because the dough is very tender.
step 8 out of 8
Cut the cooled baked goods into portions, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve.

Bon Appetit!
