This charlotte is perfect for breakfast - it cooks quickly and is quite nutritious in composition.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
To prepare the dough, mix eggs, sour cream, salt and sugar with a mixer at medium speed. It is enough just to mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained. There is no need for a lush lather.
step 2 out of 6
Pour flour with baking powder into the liquid egg mass and mix with a mixer at medium speed until completely homogeneous. There should be no lumps left.
step 3 out of 6
We process apples: they need to be washed and dried. Cut each into quarters and cut the seed pods with a thin knife. To cut or not cut the apple peel is a matter of taste. One has only to remember that the skin is always denser than the pulp, and does not soften completely during heat treatment. Cut the apple quarters into thin slices. To keep the apples their light color, it is worth sprinkling them lightly with lemon juice.
step 4 out of 6
We put the pan on the stove, pour vegetable oil into it and heat it until small air bubbles begin to rise from the bottom of the pan. Pour the whole dough into hot oil at once, quickly spread the apple slices on top.
step 5 out of 6
After unfolding the apples, immediately cover with a lid and cook on medium-low temperature for 15 minutes. During cooking, it is undesirable to open the lid for the first 5-7 minutes. At the end of cooking, you can open it to check the degree of doneness. If you want a golden brown crust on both sides, it is permissible to turn the charlotte with a wide spatula and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
step 6 out of 6
Remove the finished charlotte from the stove, let it cool slightly with the lid open and turn it over onto a serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Cut into portions and serve.

Bon Appetit!
