Finely chopped sorrel is placed in a jar and filled with cold water. The cans are then rolled up and sent to the refrigerator or pantry for storage. From this simple preparation, it is then possible to prepare various dishes.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To begin with, we carefully sort out the sorrel, removing various debris. Next, wash it thoroughly under running water and dry it on a paper towel.
step 2 out of 5
Wash glass jars with soda, and fill the lids with a small amount of boiling water and leave in this way for 5 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
We cut off the tails of the washed sorrel. Put the leaves on a cutting board and chop finely with a knife.
step 4 out of 5
Put chopped sorrel tightly into clean and dry jars. Leave a little space on top and fill the greens with cold drinking water so that the leaves are completely covered with it.
step 5 out of 5
Now you can roll up the cans with lids. We send them for storage in a refrigerator, pantry or other cool place. Such a workpiece will be stored for a long time due to the fact that sorrel contains a large amount of acid. It can be used to make pies, soups and other dishes. Bon Appetit!
