Sorrel without salt for the winter in banks

Sorrel for the winter can be prepared without salt - it is perfectly stored due to the acid it contains. Additionally, we suggest adding green onions, dill and parsley. The mixture will turn out to be very fragrant and simply irreplaceable for cooking cabbage soup and other soups.

Servings - 800 ml. finished sorrel roughly.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We sort out sorrel from defective leaves, cut off coarse stems. We wash the greens in running water very carefully so that there is no sand left. You can even soak the sorrel in cold water for an hour - so the dirt will surely lag behind the leaves. Place the washed sorrel on a clean towel and dry well. Green onions, dill and parsley are also thoroughly washed and dried.
step 2 out of 5
Cut the prepared sorrel into small pieces. Finely chop the dill and parsley with a knife. If there are rough stems, discard them. Cut the green onion into small transverse pieces. Pour all the chopped greens into a wide saucepan. Pour in the indicated amount of water and put it on the stove.
step 3 out of 5
Stir the green mass and bring it to a boil. You do not need to cook: as soon as the mass boils, remove the pan from the stove.
step 4 out of 5
We sterilize jars and lids in any convenient way. Let it dry completely. We put the sorrel into the prepared jars together with the liquid. We close the lids.
step 5 out of 5
We turn the jars of sorrel upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Let it cool completely in this position. After that, we put the workpiece in the cellar or refrigerator for storage.
Bon Appetit!
