It is very convenient to cook green borsch, cabbage soup or okroshka from green sorrel blanks. They opened the can and put it in a saucepan. Quick to use and easy to save for the winter.

Wash half liter cans of soda and sterilize in the oven. Dip the lids in boiling water for 5 minutes.

Rinse the green leaves well, removing weeds and debris, then cover with water and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Transfer it to a colander and let the water drain for 10 minutes. Boil water in a saucepan and add a little salt to it.

Place the sorrel on a board and cut into about 0.5 cm thick. Place it in jars, tamping tightly with a spoon. Pour boiling water into jars and cover with lids.

Place the jars in a wide pot of water to sterilize and simmer for about 10 minutes. Carefully remove the jars and seal with lids. Turn it upside down and leave to cool under a blanket for a day.
