A water sorrel soup recipe will help in this situation. Although it is cooked in water, the first course is very nutritious and satisfying, feeding a child with such delicious food is definitely real.

Peel carrots, onions and potatoes, chop quite coarsely. Pour the potatoes into the water on the stove.

Rinse sorrel under running water, dry a little on a kitchen towel, chop coarsely. Wash green onions and chop finely.
