Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
First, we need to carefully sort out the blueberries that we will use in cooking. You can use either frozen or fresh berries. In this recipe, we'll use fresh blueberries. First, sort out the berries, removing any spoiled fruits. It is highly discouraged to use them as a filling. After that, pour the berries into a bowl and cover it with water. Various debris will float to the surface, which could remain among the blueberries. Remove it with a piece of cloth. After that, change the water and leave the berries in it for about 20 minutes. When the time is up, rinse the blueberries several times. Spread paper towels on the table. Place the berries on top of them. The towels will absorb all excess moisture from the blueberry surface.
step 2 out of 7
Let's move on to making the dough. First, we need to sift the flour with a sieve. So the flour will be saturated with oxygen, the dough will turn out to be airy, soft and porous. Pour flour into a bowl, add sugar and baking powder to it. Cocoa must also first be sieved through a sieve, and then added to the rest of the ingredients. Stir the finished dry mixture well. Set it aside.
step 3 out of 7
Break an egg into a bowl. Pour in milk. You can use milk with any fat percentage. However, check beforehand to keep it fresh. Place the butter on a small plate. Place the dishes in the microwave for about 2 minutes. When the butter is completely melted, add it to the milk and egg. Using a blender, start mixing the mass. As a result, it should become homogeneous.
step 4 out of 7
Gradually start adding the dry mixture to the milk, egg and butter mixture. Do this in several steps. Stir the dough well with a spoon after each addition. As a result, it should not be very thick. Add dry blueberries to it. Stir the dough gently with the back of a spoon to avoid damaging the berries.
step 5 out of 7
You can take any chocolate for the cake: both black and milk. However, the combination of milk chocolate and blueberries turns out to be more delicate. We need to grind it up. To do this, you can break it with your hands or use a knife. Add the chocolate pieces to the dough and stir again.
step 6 out of 7
For baking, it is best to use silicone molds. They do not need to be greased, they come off well from baked goods. If you will be using a tin tin, grease it well so that the cake does not burn. Transfer the dough to the mold. Place the dish in the oven, which must be preheated to 180 degrees.Bake the muffins for 30-40 minutes. You can check the doneness of the muffins with a toothpick. Their readiness will be signaled by a golden brown crust, which forms on the surface of the baking.
step 7 out of 7
Transfer the finished muffins to a plate. You can decorate them with powdered sugar, fresh berries or chocolate. These muffins are perfect for a picnic with your family in nature. They will be appreciated by both adults and children. Enjoy!
