Chicken and potato shulum

Chicken Shulum is a light version of the famous camping soup. It turns out not as fat as in lamb broth, but its taste and aroma is still amazing. Due to its thickness, this soup can be served as a first course for lunch or organize a light dinner with it.

Wash the chicken and cut into medium-sized pieces.

Transfer the meat to a saucepan and cook. Skim off the foam from the broth surface periodically. Cook for half an hour.

Peel potatoes, onions and carrots. Cut the potatoes into large slices, grate the carrots, finely chop the onion.

Fry onions and carrots in sunflower oil until golden brown.
