Pork shulum with tomatoes

Shulum is boiled in broth made from any meat. You can choose the option fatter on pork or lighter - on chicken or turkey. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the pork shulum, some believe that it has Ukrainian roots.

Peel the onion and chop coarsely.

Wash the meat, cut into large pieces and cook with onions for 40 minutes.

When the meat is done, add the coarsely diced potatoes and carrots to the broth and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.

Next, remove the seeds from the bell pepper, cut. Wash the tomatoes and cut into wedges.

Add the peppers and tomatoes to the saucepan. Cook for 5 minutes.

Salt and season the shulum to taste, add chopped herbs. Turn off the heat, cover the pan with a lid and let it brew for 10-15 minutes, then serve.
