Chicken shurpa at home

Traditional shurpa is made from fatty meats - pork or lamb. I want to share a low-calorie version of the wonderful chicken shurpa. Shurpa turns out to be unusually appetizing and will please everyone without exception.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Wash the chicken well, dry it with paper towels. Pour some olive oil into a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat well, put the chicken and fry until a delicious golden brown crust over high heat. Peel the onions, rinse and cut into thin half rings, add to the meat.
step 2 out of 10
Prepare the dough. Sift the required amount of wheat flour into a deep plate, make a depression in the center and break a chicken egg into it. Salt a little.
step 3 out of 10
Knead to a soft elastic dough. Then cover with cling film and rest for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, pour the previously prepared boiling water into a saucepan with chicken, cook the broth over medium heat, periodically removing the resulting foam.
step 4 out of 10
Roll out the rested dough into a thin layer using a rolling pin.
step 5 out of 10
Roll the rolled out dough into a roll, and then cut the noodles.
step 6 out of 10
Arrange the cooked homemade noodles on a plate and dry a little.
step 7 out of 10
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Then make cross-shaped cuts, put in a deep container and pour boiling water over for a few minutes.
step 8 out of 10
Cool the tomatoes in cold water. Peel off the skin carefully and remove the stalk, cut in half. Wash young potatoes thoroughly and cut into large wedges. Rinse the bell peppers thoroughly, peel them of seeds and core, and chop coarsely. Put the vegetables in the broth and cook for 15 minutes after boiling.
step 9 out of 10
Salt the broth, add cumin and red pepper to taste. Then lay out the dried homemade noodles. Bring to a boil and simmer over moderate heat for about 4-5 minutes.
step 10 out of 10
Rinse your favorite greens thoroughly in cool water, and then shake off excess moisture. Serve fragrant chicken shurpa in portions, garnish with herbs.

Bon Appetit!
