Pork shurpa on the stove in a saucepan

It is with great pleasure that I want to share the recipe for an incredibly appetizing shurpa cooked on a pork stove. The hot first course turns out to be quite rich and aromatic, it will be a wonderful option for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
First of all, wash the potatoes thoroughly, and then peel them using a vegetable peeler. Coarsely chop the peeled potatoes and place in a deep saucepan. Cover with cold water, put on moderate heat and bring to a boil.
step 2 out of 11
Rinse the pork thoroughly under cold running water, then dry the prepared meat using paper towels and cut into large pieces of the same size.
step 3 out of 11
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan with a thick bottom, heat well, put the prepared pork and fry until an appetizing golden brown crust over high heat.
step 4 out of 11
Put the fried pork in a saucepan with the potatoes. Bring to a boil.
step 5 out of 11
Periodically remove the resulting foam using a slotted spoon. Reduce heat and cover saucepan.
step 6 out of 11
In the meantime, cook the roast. Peel the onions, rinse and cut into thin half rings, put in a well-heated pan, in which the pork was fried, and, stirring occasionally, fry until softened.
step 7 out of 11
Peel the carrots with a vegetable peeler, grate on a coarse grater and add to the pan. Wash the bell peppers, peel them of seeds and core, cut and send to the pan. Wash the tomatoes, dry them, remove the stalk, and cut into large pieces. Put in a frying pan, fry for a few minutes.
step 8 out of 11
Then add the required amount of tomato sauce. Stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes.
step 9 out of 11
Gently put the prepared frying in a saucepan, mix thoroughly. Cover the saucepan and cook the shurpa for about 20-25 minutes.
step 10 out of 11
Then add salt and black pepper to taste, as well as bay leaves. Stir well, cover and remove from heat. Leave the shurpa to steep for about 15 minutes.
step 11 out of 11
Serve fragrant, hearty pork shurpa in portions.

Enjoy a rich, appetizing pork shurpa!
